While jamming some music today Nutsara decided to show off her dancing skills, and she's got better moves than many adults I know.
Aloo Parathas For Dancers π«

Β Β Β Today I found 6 leftover doughballs and some filling from yesterday's aloo paratha extravaganza, and decided it would be a nice substitute for rice with whatever side dish we could whip up. My wife took over that job and and made a papaya-morning glory salad that paired quite well with the parathas. I'm okay with mixing south and southeast flavors in the same meal, but it doesn't always work as well as it did on this day.

Β Β Β The mood in the country is beginning to get a bit festive with Khmer New Year on the way, and everyone in the village already has their music playing all day at full blast. For Khmers this is usually a time to travel, but I am well aware this is also the time of the year with the most road fatalities and drunk driving accidents. I tend to lock myself in until the New Year partying is over, only venturing onto the roads and highways if absolutely necessary.
π₯ Lunch Is Served π«

Β Β Β With hot parathas and a cool salad to eat, it was time to stop dancing for a bit and eat some lunch. Right off the bat I bit into a lime rind that I didn't see and I felt like I had just eaten a battery. After a few minutes I was able to regain my sense of taste and enjoy the last paratha. Monkey-B nearly understands how to make dough now, she's helped so much and so many times that I think she could prepare a roti/paratha dough if she had to.
πΌ Last Dance Of The Day π»

Β Β Β With full tummies and a renewed sense of vigor and youth, we hit the dance floor in an effort to keep up with little Nutsara. She certainly has her own unique style of dancing, and perhaps in the future she'll begin to incorporate her hands. Until then it's awfully cute and ridiculously entertaining to watch.
