Our cellular tower's data service crashed recently, so Monkey-B I took a road trip to the nearest working tower to do some ASEAN Hive curation work.
First A Little Smash, Smash 🔨

The local cell phone tower malfunctioned the previous night, allowing only phone calls. but no data services of any kind. The ASEAN Hive Community voting power rose to 100% during the night, and I knew in the morning if things hadn't been repaired, I'd have to make a road trip to the nearest working tower and do some Hive catch-up work. Monkey-B smashed some broken roof tiles that will be a foundation of sorts for a former snake pond and potential future outdoor kitchen area.

Monkey-B was the only one who wanted to join me on what would be a 12+ hour working spree in the mobile Piaggio Ape Hive office space. I loaded up some pillows, mats, sleeping pads, my portable battery and mini pc setup, and we hit the road. Monkey-B really likes to make a little nook in the back of the tuk-tuk and do her own thing while I work only inches from her.
Let The Games Work Begin 👨💻

After arriving at the spot I used to park when I took the kids to school. I set up my mobile Hive office and Monkey-B created herself a little nook to start doing some Khan Academy homeschooling on her iPad. Before any of that happened we picked up some Thai vegan instant noodles and Vietnamese vegan pâté that Srey-Yuu purchased with her HIVE earnings and had shipped from Phnom Penh to the office nearest to us.

Oh, one more thing, we also made a junk food stop, stocking up on peanut snacks, seaweed and basil chips, baguettes, soy milk, and bubble gum. Within an hour our stomachs hurt and we wished we could've ate a cooked meal before hitting the road, but the road to gut destruction was fun while it lasted.
My Hive Nook 👨💻

On the other side of the bench seat is my workspace, where I can sit with right leg folded and left leg on the floorboard, and I rest my arm on the backrest with the mouse precariously perched just so. The empty battery box is my table and Bob's your uncle.
Monkey-B Is A Trooper 🪖

After the 3-hour mark, my partner in crime said she was bored, so I quickly shook things up by telling her to find and download several of her favorite podcasts just in case we don't have any 4G data when we arrive back home. I kept things entertaining by switching it up and every so often, and she also did some paperback book reading.

As sundown began approaching we decided to call it quits, and I had done enough voting to drain the ASEAN Hive voting power for 24 hours, made a late curation post and did another curation post for the present day. Just as I was finishing up, my wife @sreypov called with news that the cell phone tower had been repaired and mobile data was working, and therefore our 4G modem too.
All in all it was hard day on my back, and my body suffered the consequences of eating chips and soymilk for my meal of the day, but it was well worth it to have a special outing with Monkey-B. It's been a long time since the two of us went on an adventure together like this, and the nostalgia had us both grinning and cracking jokes the whole day, maximum morale yo'.
