It's not every day that a kitty takes on the responsibilities of a human student, but Chairwoman Meow gave it her best feline shot.
A Well-Rested Student 💤
After I found Meow shirking her responsibilities by sleeping on the books instead of studying them. Even after this she continued her extended recess outside where I found lounging in the grass as if there aren't hungry dogs in the village trying to chase her down. Either way I guess it's good to have a well-rested student in the classroom.
After coercing Chairwoman Meow back into the house classroom I asked her to resume her studies, and she promptly jumped on my lap and fell asleep. This wasn't a very productive study session by any definition, but how is this cat supposed to learn how to "cat" without reading Clawing & Scratching 101.
Knowledge Chewy Sticks ✏️
When Meow let me know that she was rested enough to attempt a round #2, I grabbed the pencils and put them on the table. Things didn't go as planned though, and Meow informed a lack of thumbs was seriously going to impact her paw-writing abilities.
I told her that a big part of "catting" is the ability to improvise under challenging circumstances, and if she really wants to possess human knowledge then she'll have to figure out a way to make it work. Upon hearing this the Chairwoman began to swallow the pencils like pills. I tried to stop her, but she insisted that the most likely source of intelligence is contained within these tasty human hand sticks.
You're Freaking Out Meow 😵💫
After Meow downed about 6 pencils, I checked the packaging and discovered the pencils were manufactured in North Korea. I immediately began to worry if Meow had ingested anything toxic or dangerous, and I found her outside experiencing some pretty intense hallucinations. After an hour she calmed down, we both had a laugh about North Korean pencils, and then we talked about how Geometry can be used to calculate escape angles from wild dogs.
