It's been a typical day, driving the tuk-tuk to pick up 400kg of cement sacks for our latest project, and also taking Monkey-B back from school.

This Kitty Won't Leave 😻

This morning when the kids opened the door and left for school, I immediately heard meowing inside the house. Still reluctant to accept this kitty as our new pet, Srey-Yuu and I put it outside last night while we were closing up the house. Within minutes the kitty was jumping and smashing ahead against our closed windows like a psychopath, making vain attempts to get back in.

In the morning I felt really bad for banishing kitty outside the previous night, and when kitty wandered into my room, jumped onto my bed and fell asleep next to me, I felt obliged to let it stay there despite not really liking animals on the bed.

After kitty's nap on my bed, I started my day with a shower, then found kitty waiting for me by my computer, so I had my morning coffee with this little furball. She slept on my lap for another three hours while I did Hive work, and when I tried to tell her this is a vegan house, she didn't seem to understand. I showed her a piece of bread and she took a bite, then another, then another, so I guess kitty might be willing to eat vegan when not hunting.

She loves me so much she even brought me a dead mouse this afternoon, one that I think I've been seeing in our house the last few weeks. This particular mouse was scared of traps and very smart, but not smart enough to avoid the wrath of kitty.

A Hard Day At School 💤

When I picked Monkey-B up from school today, she was a little more tired than normal. She didn't last long, and I found her in the fetal position in the back of the tuk-tuk, out cold.

Monkey-B is growing up so fast, but for a few more years she'll still be my little girl. In a matter of days her big sister and fellow Hiver @srey-yuu will turn 14, something I am still having a hard time accepting.

With one wife, one sleeping daughter, and 8 50kg sacks of cement mix, we slowly climbed back up the mountain to Steung Kach, our little mountain home. And that's all I have to report for now folks.......
