👩🎓 Monkey-B Resumes English Studies
Monkey-B, aka @sakana, has more or less given up on her Hive blogging journey. The earnings from the former account she shared with her sister were split between her and her sister's new accounts, but Monkey-B never put in the effort despite wanting her own blog. Big sister earned 95% of the money, so I felt it fair to power down all but 250 HP from her account and send it to @srey-yuu. Just because she's abandoned Hive and Khan Academy doesn't mean she can be lazy though, so I've forced her to resume English studies so that things are still productive.
🔦 Srey-Yuu, Laser Master
Srey-Yuu earns her own money unlike basically every other kid in our village and in her grade. There was a time when she thought this wasn't fair, but now at the age of 14 she realizes this is a great gift. Although she still doesn't enjoy washing dishes, she takes a lot of pride in the fact she pays for her own gas money, buys her own snacks at school, and even buys things for ChairWoman Meow and I.
Her most recent gift was a red laser pointer she found in a stall for less than 50 cents. Even if this cheap toy lasted an afternoon, it was money well spent because Meow was very entertained. Some cats aren't laser chasers, but Meow is, and this means we can wear her out easily without having to physically play with her for a long period of time. She's trained to my finger pointing for hunting, so I think I can begin using the laser to highlight wall geckos, grasshoppers, and other tasty treats.
