Greetings Hivers, signs of normal daily boring life are starting to appear here in Pramaoy, and I must say it's very exciting.
🔍 Always Looking For Land 🛺

The biggest priority lately has been to resume daily Hive posting, and we are now in a position to do that finally. There is still a lot to do on our Pramaoy checklist, and tomorrow morning will hopefully see the @kidsisters re-enter the educational system after a nearly 4-year hiatus.
We haven't had many chances to drive around the outskirts of town searching for phone numbers on fences. Although small like in the above photo, these are the little signs we look for when we have free-time to explore new roads and areas. Usually a casual phone call is enough to know if the land is worth pursuing or even priced within our means. 99% of everything is beyond our means, so the search itself is 99% for fun with a 1% chance we'll actually find something we can afford and that we actually want.
👚 The Piaggio Ape Clothesline

When you live in a one-room mini-apartment like us, you have to be creative, so the window, the Ape, and a lot of rope become a temporary clothesline. When the clothes dried, I took down the line, then Pov and I ran to the market.
⛰️ My Daily View Outside The Market

The market here in Pramaoy is so small that I often don't bother going in with Pov. I often just stay in the tuk-tuk and take in the surroundings. I particularly love looking at the mountains which encircle the town. From the above photo you could assume Pramaoy is a happenin' town, but what you see is basically 70% of the town in this photo.

There are plenty of sellers and hawkers offering a lot of the same snacks and treats also available in larger towns, but the development here has yet to reach beyond the roadside. There are basically just 4 roads here that meet at an elephant-themed roundabout, and that is more-or-less the town of Pramaoy.
🐘 The Elephant Roundabout

I'll show you all more of Pramaoy when we have time to explore more. Pramaoy is a simple place, and in the above shot you can see the elephant roundabout where the 4 roads meet. It's been a long time since I lived in a really small town, and I love the casualness of the locals. If you leave home without your wallet here, you can easily spend a day shopping on a promise of future payment, not possible in a town with several thousand residents.
