I have little time away from work these days, so any Hive content I can drum up is just the occasional goofiness I use to break up the day.
Monkey-B's New "Matilda" Book 🔖
On our trip to Phnom Penh Monkey-B scored a "Matilda" book, a legendary Roald Dahl read. She wasn't interested in this book while in the store, but I promised her it would quickly grow on her. Well she's 2/3rds of the way through it now, so I guess that's a good sign. I also illegally downloaded an Epub of "Harry Potter | The Goblet Of Fire" and the audiobook too.
Renewed Hive Efforts 👩💻
Srey-Yuu was busy making her own Hive post, and lately I've been reminding her to engage a little more and use her HP for voting, something she's been slacking on lately. I am not sure why she's laughing in this photo, I think because she wouldn't look at the camera, so I told her I would wait until one of us died from starvation.
The Cub Is Ready To Roll 👨🔧
The Cub is all put back together and ready for riding. I've fixed the sticky carburetor, installed a new throttle cable, and installed the third passenger footpegs where the rear shock nuts used to be.
Multipurpose Bed 🧺
Our bed is one of the few pieces of furniture in our house, so it often serves as the laundry folding area, and that's what the wife was up to. She seemed to be doing double duty, enjoying a Thai drama while folding and sorting clothes.
Stay Still For 2 Seconds ⏱️
I rarely get the chance to take a photo of these two together, and most of the time I have to ask for it just like I did for the above photo. They can barely stay still long enough for a photo, and of the six shots I took, only one wasn't blurry from subject movement. It's clear who is more excited to be part of a sisters photo.
Remember Who Is Boss 🫵
Monkey-B tried to terrorize me a bit, so I had to show who was boss by chasing her around the house until she attempted a lame retreat to the tent that now rests on top of her bed. It's been chilly at night lately, so the girls decided to pitch the tent on their bed to help conserve body heat. Srey-Yuu requested some podcast screentime, so I punched in two digits of the password, then stared at her while waiting for a smile.
Monkey-B tried to terrorize me a bit, so I had to show who was boss by chasing Okay, that's it for now, I've already wasted my New Year resolution of posting daily, seems time and sleep are things I will never be friends with.
