On most occasions my youngest daughter and I always find ourselves still eating after the other half of the family has already left the table.

Ah Boom's Stubbornness Leads To Sleep ๐Ÿ˜ด

VFVFVF.png

ย  ย  ย Before lunch the most notable thing of the day was that our neighbor's son Ah Boom was apparently rebelling against his parents. They are a young couple, very loving, but seem overwhelmed with the task of parenting, and basically send their son to our house for at least 6 hours a day of free babysitting. On this day he was angry with parents for something, and when I headed outside for a quick computer break, I found him struggling on the ground, apparently also upset with us because won't stop everything and entertain him.

ย  ย  ย My computer breaks usually involve lifting rocks or filling wheelbarrows full of dirt in efforts to control erosion and level certain areas of our land that have depressions. After passing Ah Boom, I went outside and did a couple wheelbarrow runs, then headed back inside to curate some ASEAN Hive Community posts.

ย  ย  ย To my surprise I found Ah Boom sound asleep, having refused to go home nor even accept a pillow from us, his pride made him fall asleep in the middle of our floor. We left him there because we know his mother needs a break from him each day, but his presence in our house also decreases our productivity due to his general wildness.

๐Ÿฅ” Aloo Jeera & Tomato Chutney For The Win ๐Ÿ…

ย  ย  ย Aloo jeera was on the menu today, partnered with some brown rice and tomato chutney, and as usual with Indian food, Monkey-B and I were the first at the table to eat and the last to leave.

ย  ย  ย Spending long amounts of time to make special foods that Monkey- B likes is always rewarding. She really lets her excitement and joy take over, and for me that is all thanks I need. I often tell her one day we will travel India together and eat everything everywhere all the time.

ย  ย  ย With my last and final pic, big sister and mom have long left the table and we are bowl #4, These are the times when we get to have deep conversation about life and the future and be silly gooses a little too. I am just thankful to have a daughter that is needs little more than potatoes and some attention to have a good time.
