On the way to Phnom Penh in our tuk-tuk we made a pee stop and found the most massive whirlybirds ever, a perfect opportunity for slo-mo footage.
๐ฑ Monkey-B's Discovery ๐

ย ย ย When making the super long trip to Phnom Penh we always keep our eyes open for good pee stop and picnic locations. On this trip we thought we were making a normal pee stop, but on the way back to the tuk-tuk Monkey-B discovered some massive whirlybirds, and then our short stop turned into several minutes of play and photography.
๐ง Fly Whirlybird Fly ๐ธ

ย ย ย The incredible slo-mo gif you saw in the above thumbnail is Monkey-B trying to achieve maximum flight time. I mostly took slo-mo video shots, but I did score one pic of her tossing the whirlybird into flight. The way she takes extreme joy in the simple things of life is infectious, and I found myself smiling and laughing as I took the videos and pics.
๐บ On The Road Again ๐ฃ๏ธ

ย ย ย As we piled back into the tuk-tuk, I took one last shot to complete a post before we hit the road again. We're actually already in Phnom Penh a few days already, but I haven't had time to make a post and also haven't taken any pics since arriving, and this whirlybird stop has been the most exciting part of the trip so far. I fly out on May 3rd to the USA, so there are only a few days left before I hit the skies.
