🐶 Canine King Of Steung Kach 👑
In our little village there aren't a lot of dogs, and certainly no wild dogs, but even this doesn't stop Steung Kach canines from living rough lives. There are some pretty vicious dog fights that occur each week, and usually the above sweetie is one of the involved parties. He is reigning alpha, but getting old and will one day have to retire from his throne. Even though covered in scars, he is the sweetest dog in the village, and wouldn't dare bite a human or any kind of non-dog domesticated animals, and even resists the urge to chase forest animals.
👨🏭 Toyota Hilux Too Expensive? Make A Camrickup 🛻
One of the most popular cars in this part of Cambodia is the Hilux, but this truck is only available to the middle class folks. Most working class folks only have a motorcycle, and for some of those with a little creativity, a Camry truck can be fabricated for not much more than the cost of a used motorcycle. Maintenance and upkeep are still pricier than two-wheeled transport, but these Camrickups are always destined to earn money for their owners, making it possible to get into the transport business with little savings.
🔥 Sous Chef Srey-Yuu 👩🍳
To close things out and finish this post which I've been trying to publish for 3 days, I leave with you our sous chef Srey-Yuu frying some tofu and trying to stay composed for the camera. Frying tofu is known to make humans enter a meditative, almost coma-like state, and I too have experienced the tofu-hole. It's kind of like when you are driving and all of a sudden you realize you can't remember anything from the last 10 minutes, but somehow you managed to make turns and navigate traffic whilst having an out-of-body experience.
