I've never been a fan of karaoke in any form, but I did buy my wife a karaoke speaker so she could enjoy herself from time to time.
📷 Got Ya Srey-Yuu 🤨
My oldest daughter and I often play a game of cat and mouse when it comes to taking photos of each other. Neither of us are big fans of having our photos taken, but yet we both have Hive blogs and like to snap pics of each other for our posts. I am a little more cooperative, but to get Srey-Yuu in frame, I have to be quick. In the above shot I caught her trying to run away from the refrigerator.
Srey-Yuu's Revenge 🧐
While I was busy working online my wife decided she needed some karaoke therapy, and decided to sit down next to me and do her thing. After several years of not having an office space to work, I've learned to be productive even in not so ideal circumstances, but I still like to be a little cheeky. When Srey-Yuu snatched my phone to take pics, I did my usual thing of making weird faces unbeknownst to my wife.
It's now become a bit of a tradition that I make these silly faces, but my wife now knows this and now joins in the game by singing louder and staring directly at me. On this day I think my wife defeated me because I was unable to disrupt her singing, plus she made me laugh and never broke character.
👨💻 My Old Stomping Ground 🛺
Last year I took most of the village kids to and from school in my tuk-tuk, a roughly two-hour roundtrip. I stopped doing this after the parents refused to compensate me for my fuel and time, but on occasion I still have to relive these times for various reasons. On this day Srey-Yuu's grade was on holiday, but Monkey-B still had to study. Srey-Yuu's friend is the one that usually takes them to and from school, but she was also on holiday, so I drove the tuk-tuk and parked in the field next to the hospital for 4+ hours before turning around and taking Monkey-B back home.
Home Sweet Home 😼
When I am home and working at my desk I usually have a shadow, and that shadow is the lovely ChairWoman Meow, now a fixture in our lives and in my posts. She's a perfect fifth member to the family, and she has imprinted herself of on me, mostly spending her days laying in my lap while I do ASEAN Hive work. Her cuteness becomes irresistible when she smashes her face flat while sleeping, a sign she needs some serious rest. Well, she's earned it because it's not easy being a carnivore living with vegans, having to hunt for the food she needs.
