From homeschooling in the hammock to playing with the landlord's new lamb, there is always something going on in this house that is potential Hive content.
🐵 Monkey-B & The Lamb 🐑
If you're not ready for cuteness overload, I highly suggest you exit this post now before you get in too deep. If you are up for some cuteness, just look at the bond Monkey-B is creating with the newest member of our landlords' sheep family.
This is not the first lamb born at our apartment, so we knew from past experience it was going to be hard to pull Monkey-B away from this little guy (yet to be named). As long as Monkey-B completes her daily homeschooling routine, she is free to squeeze the sheep as much as she likes. Anything that encourages times spent outdoors and off-screen is a winner to me.
As you can see, this little lamb is quite tolerant and relaxed, a very different personality than the previous lamb which was equal parts skiddish and aggressive. I am only hoping Monkey-B doesn't introduce this furball to to bananas like she did the previous one, who after tasting bananas, visited our doorstep every morning. Bananas are basically cocaine for sheep, and I aim not to let this one become an addict.
🐝 Hive Time With Srey-Yuu 👩💻
While Monkey-B was busy with the lamb, Srey-Yuu was occupied with catching up on the latest Splinterlands updates. She's discovered her Splintershards airdrop and how to stake these tokens. She also has a card that has jumped to over $200 in value, quite an uptick considering the time she last checked, it was $10.
Yet to make his first post of 2021 was Hiver @faustofraser, whom Srey-Yuu challenged to a Splinterlands duel. It was an easy win for Srey-Yuu, and it made Fausto realize he needs to up his game if we wants to beat Srey-Yuu.
🤪 Now Let's Get Silly 🙃
With a bit of creativity and "laundry clips," Monkey-B was able to enter a pensive state due to a loss of blood in her fingertips. Because my English is rapidly degrading due to speaking Khmer the last 10 years, I googled "laundry clips" only to find they are called "clothes pins" in my native language. It is embarrassing that I've forgotten so much basic vocab through the years.
Anyhow, move over Edward Scissorhands because Monkey Madfingers has come to town. Will we be considered legally sane when we leave Suriname? Nobody knows, but a little bit of crazy always fosters creativity and imagination.
