It has been raining almost nonstop lately, but a few breaks in the weather have allowed some forward progress to continue on the cabin.
An Unwanted Dinosaur 🦖

It seems our home is now host to the neighbor's T-Rex, I mean chicken-o-saurus, aka godless killing machine. You can't convince me otherwise, chickens are dinosaurs, they walk around like a T-Rex, mercilessly slaughtering and swallowing anything small enough to enter their mouth. In this photo it is pretending to be a caring mother while also letting me know it would swallow me whole if it were two stories tall.
Rain, Rain 🌧️

The @kidsisters and I went swimming, and sure enough, like clockwork, the heavens opened up while we were swimming, so we headed back to the hill, but Srey-Yuu decided to wander around in the rain before coming inside. Although she has almost completely stopped Hivin' recently despite my nagging, I am glad to see her connecting with nature, weather, mud, whitewater, etc.

I have no idea what's going on in this photo, but it looks like Monkey-B is delivering something, one of her main roles lately. Many things need to be shuttled from between the cabin, mini house, and highway shack, and Monkey-B is up to the challenge about 65% of the time.
I Win Again 🏆

I've gotten pretty good at pretending to not be taking photos of Srey-Yuu while I am actually taking photos of her. There is nothing more she hates than photos, especially staged photo ops with her dad. Well, all I have to do is pretend I'm doing a video call, and just like that, boom, got ya'!!
Puu Mab On The Roof 🏚️

Puu Mab is on the roof, and while I was giving the Ape an oil change and some routine maintenance, I popped over to the adjacent higher land to capture a shot of our place from a new angle. By the way, "puu" means young uncle in Khmer, and "mab" means chubby, but it's affectionate and a good thing. It doesn't sound nice translated to English, but his colloquial name is Chubby Young Uncle.

Puu Mab has lived in Thailand for many years doing construction, and speaks, reads, and writes Thai. He came back to Cambodia and is taking it easy ever since a back injury, so Pov's brother Bong Thien does the more strenuous work.
