What is radder than grabbin' some highly processed tacos for the love of your life while straddling the seat of a Harley Davidson motorcycle? Unfortunately I didn't get to stay long enough to see who paid and/or held the tacos. Perhaps she fed the driver with a reach-around technique, I'm not sure.

ANSWER 🤟 'MERICA IS RADDER!!

Still feeling like a tourist in my own land, a friend invited me to watch his daughter's basketball game at a farmtown gymnasium. I'm not much into sports at all, but wanted to please my friend and his daughter by obliging. After all, I'd get some more content to share with my ASEAN Hivers, the USA that tourists never see.

My friend has a nice car and big house, even his dogs have their own heating and air conditioner. It's a very different lifestyle than family and I live in Cambodia. I think it's fun for a short time to see this kind of life, but if I lived and worked in the USA, this isn't the quality of life I would have.

To The Game ⛹️‍♀️

My friend drove me about 20 minutes to get to the game, and along the way I entertained his baby boy. When we arrived, I made sure to take an exterior shot of the gymnasium.

Not sure what to say about the basketball game, I find sports kind of boring, and I'm not sure the competitive mentality is the one to teach our youths. I would rather see kids cooperate on something with other youths from another town, but at least sports keep some kids from becoming morbidly obese, a very common fate in this area.

During the game I tried to stay entertained, and part of that was babysitting. My friend was busy running the scoreboard, and I honestly wasn't in the mood to go down to the court and take close-up action shots, especially as an unknown guy wearing a turban in the countryside of the USA.

I couldn't help but notice the many hand movements of the coaches. They were very passionate, and I think they became most animated when they put their hands on the hips, sometimes at the same time.

I think I would look pretty good out there with my hands on my hips, and believe it or not I have actually refereed a few basketball games in Cambodia.

On the way home we passed one of the greatest features of the countryside where I live, one of the largest and dirtiest coal-burning power plants in the USA. We live directly downwind from it, so land prices are extremely cheap here due to the low air quality.
