Even though there couldn't be a worse time to build a HIVE-crypto funded veranda and other renovations, we are still moving forward and trying to use only stablecoin and passive daily earnings.
Much-Needed Fiat Is Coming Soon 🥾
As much as we'd love to stay in the cabin once it's renovated and improved, we need to list it on Airbnb and/or find a longterm renter to provide some much-needed fiat income. Because we were stranded in Suriname for three years, we ended up losing our fiat life savings and online fiat income sources.
Things Are Manifesting 🔮
We ended up back here in Cambodia and 85% reliant on our Hive earnings to provide for us, and 100% reliant upon crypto, which I have never felt easy about, but I made my peace with it because there weren't many choices available. Now with the crypto market in decline and our post payouts worse than ever, it's now we realize we can't rely on crypto exclusively.
With this in mind, we all see this project taking shape, and know it will be a paradise for any water and mountain loving renter, but the income from it will give my family the first economic stability we've had since we closed our restaurant 4 or 5 years ago.
Wood turns out to be really cheap here, especially if delivered after 9pm, but I won't go into those details. It's just planks of wood, but it sure feels like making drug deals every time we negotiate a price and or talk about planks of wood with the locals.
That's all I've got for now folks, trying to keep things short so that I can get back into the habit of daily posting and also make time for more engagement.
